Oxidized MWCNTs-based nanosystem as a carrier of VP-16 and Bcl-2 antisense. Delivery system allows for a pH-sensitive release of VP-16 and Bcl-2 antisense. Genotoxic and hemotoxic assays revealed its exceptional biocompatibility. Pronounced inhibitory effects were achieved in chemoresistant NSCLC cells. Antioxidant properties of Bcl-2 were evidenced and controlled using Bcl-2 antisense.
