A novel complex membrane is designed and fabricated to improve the vanadium flow battery performance; The complex membrane employs PES ultrafiltration membrane as support and graphene as proton-selection layer; The proton selectivity of membrane is significantly enhanced and the overall battery efficiencies are improved by 5-10%.
