An integrated train trajectory and timetable optimization has been developed. The optimization aims to minimize whole day substation energy consumption. Variables have been considered in different optimizations simultaneously. The optimization can significantly reduce the substation energy consumption. The optimal timetable can improve the reliability of the railway power network.
