Variation of anthocyanins and flavonols in Vaccinium uliginosum berry in Lesser Khingan Mountains and its antioxidant activity

Flavonoids of Vaccinium uliginosum berry in Lesser Khingan were studied firstly.

The berries of Wuying region had the highest anthocyanin and flavonol contents.

The content of both anthocyanins and flavonols increased with rising altitude.

Anthocyanin content had significant positive correlation with antioxidant activity.
