MnO2 nanowires @Ni1−xCoxOy nanoflake heterostructure are successfully fabricated. The formation of core-shell heterostructure through crystal epitaxial growth. The heterostructure exhibits the highest specific capacitance of 476.8 F/g. The heterostructure has high rate capability and excellent cycling stability.
