Synthesis analysis of remote sensing and CO2 flux data at paddy rice flux tower sites. MODIS vegetation indices tracked well the phenology and GPP of paddy rice fields. VPM predicts reasonably well seasonal and interannual dynamics of GPP of paddy rice.
