For simultaneous imaging of ICA and ECA vessel wall at 3T, we have developed a RF coil system on a 32--channel MRI system The performance of the proposed coil system is superior to the standard coil configuration. The proposed coil system provides good SNR and spatial coverage needed for simultaneous imaging of ICA and ECA walls 3D images of ICA and ECA walls at an isotropic spatial resolution of 0.6mm are acquired in 7.6min using proposed coil system.
