A layer reduction algorithm, neighaggre, is proposed to combine similar layers. Experiments on various networks validate the performance of neighaggre. A CD algorithm on multiplex networks based on neighaggre, LRCD-MNs, is proposed. Experiments on synthetic and real-life networks show the effectiveness of LRCD-MNs.
