The grain size was decreased with the addition of Sr to some degree. Sr would increase the average corrosion rate of the as-cast ZK40xSr alloys. The rod-like Sr-contained HA substance was detected after immersion. The SCC susceptibility of the Mg-4Zn-0.6Zr would increase with the increase of Sr content.
