Reversion of hyperhydricity in pink (Dianthus chinensis L.) plantlets by AgNO3 and its associated mechanism during in vitro culture

AgNO3 improved hyperhydricity reversion in D. chinensis L. shoots culture. AgNO3 decreased the generation of excessive ethylene in hyperhydric plantlets. AgNO3 reduced the production of reactive oxygen species in hypehydric plantlets. The reverted plantlets displayed increased stomatal aperture and water loss rate.
