Both the connecting rod cap and connecting bolts have occurred crack. Fatigue and sudden overload are the most probable cause of failures. Stress of the model is analyzed with FEA method and theoretical analysis to figure out which of the connecting rod cap and connecting bolts is broken earlier. Fatigue strength can be improved by optimizing the geometric dimension or partial strengthening.
