Observations of near-IR (NIR) thermal emission for two low albedo NEAs are presented. Analysis is focused on thermal variability as a function of phase angle. Thermal measurements at large phase angles have high diagnostic significance. Analysis of 1998 QE2 data suggests constraints on spin pole and thermal inertia. Analysis of 1996 FG3 data is ambiguous with possible evidence for surface heterogeneity.
