Volatile compounds released from different units of organic fraction of municipal solid waste composting were evaluated. Emission contributions were compared in terms of concentrations and their health risks in summer and winter season. Oxygenated compounds were determined having highest concentration with ethyl alcohol as the major specie in this study. Non-carcinogenic and carcinogenic risk of individual VCs were quantified. Health risk exposure of VCs were within acceptable limit except naphthalene at biofilter unit.
