A model of large-scale distributed generation system (or power plant) is built. Distributed capacitances of feeders could impact frequency behaviors of the system. Stray capacitances of transformers could impact frequency behaviors of the system. Several resonance bands will potentially deteriorate the power quality of the system. Hybrid active power filter is a solution to attenuate wideband frequency harmonics.
