Super E0, E0, and E1 grade UF resins were modified with microfibrillated cellulose.

Laminated veneer lumbers were produced with UF resins modified with the MFC.

TVOC from wood-based panel considerably decreased with increasing amount of MFC.

MFC did not decrease formaldehyde emission from the LVLs, except for SE0 resin.

Toluene was the highest detected compound, followed by xylene, benzene, ethylbenzene.
