Crystals of a new Ba3(BO3)2–xF3x solid solution were grown. Ba3(BO3)2–xF3x demonstrates unusual ‘anti-zeolite’ structure. Ba3(BO3)2 is a probable end-member of the Ba3(BO3)2–xF3x solid solution.
