Specimens of Corynosoma hannae are characterised from the intestine of pinnipeds. Immature specimens of C. hannae are described from shags and penguins. Cystacanths of C. hannae are described from fish paratenic hosts. Partial cox1 sequence were generated for C. hannae collected from all hosts. Phylogenetic analyses revealed a close relationship between C. hannae and C. australe.
