Ce3+ ions were used to enhance 1.50–1.67 μm emission in Er: Lu3Al5O12 crystal. The effect of Ce3+ codoping on the 1.50–1.67 μm fluorescence was investigated. Optical properties of Er/Ce: LuAG as 1.50–1.67 μm laser crystal were evaluated.
