A CHP system composed of a PAFC and an absorption refrigerator is proposed.

Multiple irreversible losses in the system are numerically expressed.

Current density region enables the absorption refrigerator to work is determined.

Maximum power density and corresponding efficiency can be increased by 2.6% and 3.0%.

Effects of some designing and operating parameters on the performance are discussed.
