Few works were done about non-buthidae scorpion toxins. We cloned the first disulfide-bridged toxin St20 from the non-buthidae scorpion Scorpiops tibetanus. St20 has unique immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory activities. Non-buthidae scorpion is a new source for peptide drug discovery.
