Additive manufacturing of MoSi2 for high-temperature material was first succeeded. Control of the thermal expansion coefficient of the start plate is important. Unidirectional laser scanning is effective for controlling the texture in AM-MoSi2. [001] texture could be successfully developed along the scanning direction.
