A novel CdSe QDs bilayers/Au@Ag ECL RET system for biosensing was designed. A surprising ECL enhancement effect in the QDs bilayers was observed. The layered QDs with highly intense ECL could provide a promising candidate for ECL biosensor. The proposed scheme open a new QDs-based ECL platform for versatile detection of target biomolecules.
