Constructed amperometric lactate biosensor based on microbial LOx/cMWCNT/CuNPs/PANI/PGE.

Biosensor showed improved analytic performance e.g. 5 s response time, LOD- 0.25 μM and broader linear range 1 μM–2500 μM.

Biosensor measured lactic acid in plasma, milk products, alcoholic beverages and fruit juice.

Biosensor used 180 times over a period of 140 days, with only 40% loss in its initial activity.

Biosensor exhibited good correlation with standard method.
