FGE reduced medial hypertrophy of pulmonary arterioles in MCT rats. Inflammatory protein expressions in lung tissues were attenuated by FGE. These effects of FGE were attenuated by sGC inhibitor. FGE ameliorates MCT-induced pulmonary hypertension via NO–sGC–PKG pathway.
