First study on the co-combustion process of sewage sludge-coffee grounds mixtures using ANN. The ANN model predicted TG curves for co-combustion of mixtures with high accuracy. Interaction occurred and, in general, affected the decomposition in a positive manner. Activation energies were calculated using the KAS and OFW methods. The average activation energy was lowest when the mixture contained 40% coffee grounds.
