Rabbits fed S. marianum seed expellers in repeated 42-day fattening experiment. Carcass weight/carcass yield in group fed 1% S. marianum additives was higher vs control. Other growth performance and most biochemical and oxidative stress parameters were not affected. When in one repetition a higher incidence of health problems connected with digestive disorders occurred, the diet containing the highest content of S. marianum constituents was able to modulate the morbidity and mortality of rabbits.
