Spin probes show similar micropolarity of tetrahydrofurane and methyl methacrylate. Micropolarity of ionic liquid co-solvent is between tetrahydrofurane and water. Micropolarity of ionic liquid monomers is between tetrahydrofurane and water. Spin probes strongly immobilize in ionic liquids and they are more mobile in water. Hydrophobic polyelectrolytes were made by enzyme-mediated radical polymerization.
