An underwater in-situ LaBr3:Ce spectrometer was developed and tested. The intrinsic background of LaBr3:Ce was well determined by underground γ spectrometer and α/γ discrimination. A self-calibration method including spectra stabilization was proposed and validated. The efficiency was calculated by water tank experiment and MC simulation.
