Electro-organic synthesis of Adiponitrile has merits compared to conventional route. Models of bi-phasic system include multiple reactions and liquid film mass transfer. Mathematical models help identify the needed changes in the process for improvement. Diffusion–reaction equations for film model are solved by boundary element method. Effects of operating parameters on adiponitrile selectivity are examined in detail.
