The hydrodynamics of the platelet millireactor filled with different morphologies of the commercial open cell 尾-SiC foams (0.8 < porosity (蔚) < 0.95 and 890 渭m < cell size (桅) < 2700 渭m) has been investigated. The axial dispersion profile of an inert tracer in a gas flow (superficial velocity from 0.01 to 0.3 m/s) is estimated by a robust deconvolution procedure. The axial Peclet number based on 桅 is found to be on the order of 1. The results are in agreement with the literature data and can be compared with the available results for the standard fixed bed.
