Two polycarbazoles with tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) as pendant group were synthesized first byYamamoto coupling reaction using Ni(1,5-cyclooctadiene)₂ (Ni(COD)₂) as the catalyst. The structures of thepolymers and their intermediates were characterized by ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR, MS, GPC, UV-vis, and IR. Theelectrochemical behaviors of the polymers were characterized by cyclic voltammetry. These polymers exhibithigher conductivity up to about 0.1 S cm^-1.
