Concise and efficient total syntheses of 11--methoxycurvularin and 11--methoxycurvularin were accomplished forthe first time. The three-component linchpin coupling andintramolecular acylation reactions were key steps, in whichwe found the spectral data of 11--methoxycurvularin and11--methoxycurvularin, reported in the literature, werereversed with each other.
