Purpose To compare the results of conventional Lichtenstein hernioplasty with polypropylene mesh (PLP) with a lightweight self-adhesive mesh (Parietene Progrip庐; Covidien, Dublin, Ireland) (PPG) used in patients with bilateral inguinal hernia.
