BackgroundIn Germany, endometrial cancer is the fourth most frequent gynecological tumor in women. Due to early diagnosis and the improved medical treatment, the 5‑year survival rate for affected patients is 74–91%. While mortality decreases chronic morbidity increases as well as the number of long-term cancer survivors.
