The paper approaches the question of how Critical Social Work can be taken today and discusses preventive and facilitating factors of Solidary or resitant Social Work – exemplifying Social Work in the context of unemployment. The main points are the perspectives of social pedagogical critical user research as well as Michael Lipsky’s concept of social work as a street level bureaucracy.
