Treatment of bean seedlings with a water extract of Reynoutria sachalinensis (giant knotweed) increases visible photosynthesis and the dark respiration of plants. The increase in CO2b> uptake under intense illumination (10 000 lx) correlates with an increase in the fluorescence parameter (F Mb> ?F Tb>)/F Tb>.
