The following study discusses the political consequences of the Polish presidential and parliamentary elections 2015. The text offers an overview of the most important topics and events of both electoral campaigns. In order to explain the social processes which influenced the result of the election, three approaches are applied. Additionally, it is explained how the elections influenced Polish foreign policy and the international position of Poland. The paper concludes with a reflection upon possible future developments.
