The partial water removal from a steam-water mixture before transmission to prevent a pipeline from entering pulsation mode and to increase the flow of the heat carrier coming to the geothermal power plant is considered in this paper. It was found that the measure proposed does not solve the pulsation problem, while the flow is to be increased by the analysis of specific wells productivity plots and pipeline capacities. A technique for the analysis is proposed. Specifically, for well 037 of the Mutnovskii Field, partial removal of water is not advised.
