This article encompasses three central concepts: sex, development of roles and youth. It seems appropriate first to define the terms describing these concepts and to build the framework and context in which they will subsequently be used. Based on this, questions about gender role development of young people will be asked. These will be discussed in the context of psycho dramatic theory of development and illustrated through case vignettes. With regard to the psycho dramatic wording of the process of gender role development of youth, this paper primarily is of an explorative nature.
