摘要
The first occurrence of Lingula in the British Triassic is here recorded with the identification of Lingula tenuissima from an exposure of Keuper beds near Eakring, north of Nottingham, central England. The occurrence is significant in that it indicates salinity approaching marine conditions and probably a temporary connection with European seas.
