摘要
Long fiber reinforced thermoplastics, with reducing costs and vehicle weight, continue growth in automotive.Their mechanical properties including strength, stiffness, and impact are strongly influenced by fiber orientation and length distribution.Recently, the Phelps-Tucker fiber attribution model along the fiber orientation model was proposed to predict the length distribution. In addition, the iARD-RPR model for predicting long fiber orientation has a beat accuracy. In this work, it is objective to perform a numerical analysis of fiber length attrition in injection molding, with respect to fiber orientation.
