摘要
In northwest of China, the annual and diurnal temperature range are very big. The local Yaodong dwelling adapts suchclimate, and has the character of warm in winter and cool in summer. The objective of this paper is to study the thermo stability ofexternal envelope. The air temperature and solar radiation in winter and in summer are selected from typical meteorological data inhourly. After verifying the harmonic response method by tested data, the amplitudes of air temperature and of solar radiationequivalent temperature in the roof, east, south, west, and north external wall are calculated by this method. The results show that, inwinter, the thickness affected by solar radiation equivalent temperature is bigger than that by air temperature in the roof, south, east, and west external wall, while in summer, the thickness affected by solar radiation equivalent temperature is bigger than that affectedby air temperature just in the roof. Both in winter and in summer, the thickness affected by solar radiation equivalent temperature isless than that affected by air temperature in the north external wall. This paper indicates the external envelope mainly affected bysolar radiation equivalent temperature in winter and in summer, which’s helpful to make different thermal insulation measuresaccording to different external envelope.
