基于CARS模型的国际期刊论文引言分析——以Storch的一篇高被引论文为例

详细介绍了Swales CARS模型中的三个语步及实现这些语步各步阶的方法、功能及意义,并结合一篇发表在国际期刊上的高被引论文,详细阐述它是如何依据这一范式进行引言写作的。作者希望通过这一分析,达到两个目的:第一,帮助涉足研究领域的教师、研究人员和研究生提高中、英文,尤其是英文引言的写作质量,为在国际期刊上发表论文做准备;第二,间接地帮助他们获得一种创新性的科研思维方式,从而提高科研水平。
This article describes in detail the three moves of Swales'CARS model and the realizations,functions,and significance of their corresponding steps.Utilizing a highly cited paper published in an international journal,the author elaborates how this paradigm guides the writing of introduction.The author hopes to achieve two goals through the analyses:first,to help researchers,and those teachers and postgraduates involved in the research field improve the quality of writing in both Chinese and English introductions,thus preparing them for publication in international journals;second,indirectly help them obtain a creative way of thinking in conducting research so as to improve the quality of their research.
