笔墨当随时代——陈师曾《文人画之价值》画学思想发微

摘要
陈师曾的《文人画之价值》是中国现代美术史论中关于传统文人画评价问题的一篇名作,也是一篇极具理论内涵和标识性文化意义的经典文献。陈师曾在《文人画之价值》中对传统文人画之定义、文人画首重精神之特点、文人画之形体观念,以及文人画家之内养功夫等涉及文人画价值评估和美学意义重要问题,一一进行了论述与辨析,并阐发了文人画在现代意识语境下的美学"进步"意义。他对这些问题的看法并非单纯是为文人画辩护,而是同时在思考文人画传统在现代的传承与发展路径,这对于我们深入了解当时的美术观念,尤其是当时关于传统绘画评论问题上的观念冲突与交锋,以及中国画学思想从传统向现代转型过程中的古今、中西冲撞和整合融通情状,意义重要,值得充分重视。陈师曾的《文人画之价值》在如何对优秀传统文化进行创造性阐释和创新性转化方面为我们提供了一个很好的范例,并且对20世纪以来的中国画发展起到了重要作用,以至我们今天读来,亦能从中获得诸多的教益。
The Value of Literati Painting by Chen Shizeng is not only a famous work on the evaluation of traditional literati painting in the Chinese modern art history,but also a classic document with theoretical connotation and symbolic cultural significance.In this book,Chen Shizeng discusses and analyzes the important issues related to the value evaluation and aesthetic significance of literati painting,such as the definition of traditional literati painting.Literati paintings first attach importance to the expression of the artist's spiritual world,and elucidated the significance of the literati paintings'aesthetic"progress"in the context of modern consciousness.His view of these issues is not simply to defend the literati,but at the same time in thinking of traditional literati paintings in modern times and the development path.It is very important,for it gives us a deep understanding of the art concept at that time,especially at the time of the notion of traditional painting comments on the issue of conflict,as well as the Chinese painting thoughts from the traditional to the modern transformation process.It is that past and the present day,the clash between the east and the west and Chinese.The Value of Literati Painting by Chen Shizeng provides a good example for us in terms of creative interpretation and innovative transformation of excellent traditional culture.It also plays an important role in the development of Chinese painting since the 20 th century.Even today,we can learn a lot from it.
