荀子为师之道对提升教师素质的启示

摘要
教师作为社会文化的传递者,承担了教书育人的重要职责,这意味着对教师的专业学识和专业能力等方面有着严格的要求。荀子把教师看作天下大治、国泰民安的根本,并对教师提出要有终身学习的理念、要有"尊严而惮"的师生关系、要有"耆艾而信"的政治素养、要有"不陵不犯"的语言表达能力以及要有"知微而论"的教学能力等要求,这对当代教师如何提升自身素质有重要启示。
        Teachers, as the transmitters of social culture, bear the important responsibility of teaching and educating people, which means strict requirements on teachers' professional knowledge and professional ability. Xunzi regards teachers as the foundation of the rule of the world and the peace of the people. He also puts forward the following requirements for teachers: the idea of lifelong learning, the relationship between teachers and students with dignity and fear, the political accomplishment of "believing in one's love", the language expression ability of"not committing crimes in mausoleums"and the teaching ability of "knowing little but discussing". It has important enlightenment for contemporary teachers to improve their own quality.
