MDSCs represent a heterogeneous population of immature myeloid cells,consisting of myeloid progenitors of dendritic cells,granulocytes,and macrophages,which mediate potent suppression of T-effector responses through a variety of mechanisms.MDSC accumulate in the settings of cancer,chronic infection,and severe trauma or sepsis,but are rare in healthy individuals,contribute to the negative regulation of immune responses during cancer and other diseases.We had investigated the roles of MDSC in endometriosis.The results showed that(1) the ratio of MDSCs in endometriosis peritoneal fluid was significantly higher than in normal peritoneal fluid;(2)MDSCs in endometriosis of peritoneal fluid and PBMCs expressed CCR1 highly;(3) MDSCs in endometriosis of peritoneal fluid and PBMCs inhibited T cell response by 3[H]-Td R;(4)IL-10 has important influence on generation and function of MDSC,endometriosis peritoneal fluid had high levels of IL-10 and(5) CCL5(ligand of CCR1),recruited MDSCs into endometriosis environment;(6) rh CCL5 stimulated IL-10 and GM-CSF secreted by MDSC.Hence,it appears that the MDSCs may be contributing very important roles towards endometriosis.
