W波段行波管的高效率方法

摘要
将相速再同步技术引入基于双排矩形梳状慢波结构的W波段行波管中,利用CST计算了所需不同周期的慢波结构的色散和偶合阻抗,在此基础上用MTSS模拟计算了注波互作用。结果证实:对于由两段周期均匀的慢波结构构成的W波段行波管,在90~98GHz范围内输出功率为48.92W~56.44W,电子效率为6.04%~6.96%,增益大于49d B;而对于由7段周期跳变的慢波结构构成的W波段行波管,在90~98GHz范围内输出功率为57.06W~98W,电子效率为6.98%~11.99%,增益大于50d B;两者相比,电子效率提高1%~4%。
With re-synchronization included, dispersions and interaction impedances of some staggered double rectangular gating with various periods are calculated by CST, then beam-wave interaction of two W band traveling wave tube based on those structures is simulated by MTSS. The results show that one W band traveling wave tube based on two sections of staggered double rectangular gating with uniform period has output power of 48.92W~56.44 W,electron efficiency of 6.04%~6.96% and gain of over 49 d B within 90~98GHz, meanwhile another W band traveling wave tube based on 7 sections of staggered double rectangular gating with various periods has output power of 57.06W~98W,electron efficiency of 6.98%~11.99% and gain of over 50 d B, and the improvement of electron efficiency is 1%~4%。
