统筹服务国家战略需要和区域经济社会发展:地方“双一流”建设高校的使命与担当

现代大学发展史表明,一流大学的诞生总是与国家或民族的命运紧密关联的,一流大学的根本价值总是在服务经济社会发展中彰显的,一流大学的塑造总是在不断的创新中成长壮大的。地方"双一流"建设高校,只有在服务国家战略和服务区域振兴发展的结合点上把准方位,才能全面履行学校的职能,才能赢得更好的发展环境。实现建设一流学科大学的目标,要着力破除旧的思想观念、破除体制机制障碍、优化结构体系、扩大对外开放;要始终坚持以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导,坚持党对高校的全面领导,坚持把立德树人为根本任务,坚持扎根中国大地走自己的高等教育发展道路。
The history of modern universities indicates that the birth of top universities is closely related to the destiny of a nation and that the growth of them lies in innovation, with their basic value to serve the economy and society. It is at the juncture of serving national strategies and encouraging regional growth that regional Double First Class universities can perform their duties and obtain a better environment for further development. To build first class discipline universities, we should optimize structural system and open still wider to the outside world by discarding old ideas and institutional hurdles. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, we should pursue a path of higher education deeply rooted in China by adhering to the overall leadership of the Party and taking Strengthen Moral Education and Cultivate People as our primary task.
