计算机网络高可用性研究

摘要
本文通过对代表当前世界发展潮流的千兆以太网络技术及相关网络设备的
    研究,及本人的工程实践经验,提出了一个通过把千兆以太网技术、路由及交
    换技术、VLAN Trunking技术、Gigabit EtherChannel技术、per-VLAN Spanning
    Tree(PVST)技术、per-destination load balancing、Hot Standby routing技术
    集成起来,在网络端组建一个环形的高可用性的通用计算机网络系统;通过对
    于本地子网的dead gateway问题的研究,提出了一种在主机端利用IGMP、
    ICMP协议,在本地子网中由主机诊断和解决dead gateway问题来防止出现网
    络“黑洞”现象的新方法。在网络设计和工程实践中综合考虑各种因数并采用
    适当的技术,可将网络失效的恢复时间控制在10秒以内,这将不会引起TCP
    会话的超时,从而保证了网络的高可用性。
In this paper, an open solution to High-Availability gigabit ethernet:
     design, prototyping, and evaluation, is presented. A ring network, which
     based on Gigabit Ethernet, Routing and Switching, VLAN Trunking, Gigabit
     EtherChannel, per-VLAN Spanning Tree, per-destination load balancing, Hot
     Standby routing technologies, consists of 2-layer and 3-layer switchs.
     Based on the research of "dead gateway" a new method, witch makes
     use of IGMP and ICMP protocols to prevent "black hole" of the local
     network.
     Dunng the network design and engineering, have to consider all factors
     and use properly technologies, failover time of the network can be limited in
     10 seconds.
