There are plenty types of carbonate sedimentary facies in Callovian-Oxfordian of Samandepe gasfield, Turkmenistan. Based on the comprehensive research of geology, well drilling and seismic data, and thin section and precipitation facies analysis, this study discusses the characteristics of Callovian-Oxfordian carbonate deposition facies in the Samandepe gas field, and then defines four types of reservoirs containing porosity-hole-fissure type, pinhole type, fissure-hole type, and fissure type.
